Electrostatic dust collector and exhaust gas treatment equipment (design, new installation, refurbishment, inspection, etc.)

Our electrostatic precipitator uses uniquely-shaped discharge needles for emitter electrode, which generates extremely high-density charge fields, and we have succeeded in greatly boosting the dust charging probability compared to previous equipment.
The structure of the emitter electrodes forms a space-charge layer that prevents the generation of secondary electrons, which in turn makes spark emission very unlikely, and allows the creation strong electrical fields.
Therefore, the structure can provide the two factors necessary for raising the basic performance of electrostatic precipitator, which are adequate charge and strong electrical field (electric power).

Characteristics of electrostatic precipitator

  • The vortex effect due to electrode pipe layout and dust scattering due to isolated dust collection electrode structures are minor, so there is little decline in dust collection rate.

Electrostatic precipitators specifications

  • Dust particles within inlet gas is charged by the corona discharge emitted from the fishbone-type emitter electrodes.
  • Dust particles charged with - ions are collected to the + dust collection electrode pipe, and dust particles reverse charged with + ions in the ionization region are collected to the dust collection pipes arranged on the emitter electrode side.
  • The space between the emitter electrode pipes and the dust collection electrode pipes is an electrical field with complex electrical field intensity, which assists the adhesion of ions to dust particles and prevents re-scattering of dust that has adhered to the pipes.
  • Dust that has adhered to the emitter electrodes and dust collection electrodes is knocked down into the hopper by impacts and discharged by the discharge system.

Thus, electric dust collectors are characterized by extraordinarily low pressure losses because they use electricity for dust collection.
